FS9 setup

Post by WhiskeyJake »

I have been using nothing but FSX since it came out and really like it. Now I'm trying to run these MAIW files in FS9 to see what it looks like, but I can't get FS9 to look as smooth as FSX. I have all settings to max ,but the planes still have have those jagged edges...
Just wondering if anyone else has any ideas of what to add or setup in FS9

Thanks
Man what a difference, like a new program. Any other enhancements you know of that will make FS9 closer to reality?

Glad it helped.
There is always proggies to enhance your enjoyment. Trouble is most of them aren't free. I am sure that people will wax lyrically about various weather and scenery enhancements so you have to take your choice really.

One small program that most people seem to conclude makes FS9 smoother, if not actually faster, is http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?Ca ... LID=142396. Only useful if you have a multi-CPU PC, which most do nowadays.

You can try that out.
