I carried out today exactly the same procedure today as that when I first had the new Card installed. So I am at a loss?

Graphic Cards
Re: Graphic Cards
I can hazard a guess.
I wonder if you had changed the card but not updated the graphics drivers when you first tried. Either that or you had to delete the driver entire and then install it again.
What I am thinking is that FS9 picks up the card from the graphics driver and not from the card itself. Does this sound plausible?

Re: Graphic Cards
Steve, have just checked the cfg and it identifies both cards, how can I resolve this issue please. I tried to attach a copy of the cfg but failed.

Re: Graphic Cards
OK how did you create this cfg?
Did you rename the cfg let a new one be built and then copy everything back bar the original Display.Device entry or did you accidentally copy that entry back from the previous one?
Anyway, so solve your issue simply remove the section [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450.0] and save.
There are two parms that you will lose AntiAlias=1 and MipBias=5 but they may not mean anything anyway as you are probably using nvidia inspector to get rid of those little jaggies.

Re: Graphic Cards
Thanks Steve, Deleted old card from list and moved the new one from further down to the old one position. It must have worked as I am having to reset my controller again also the FS9 screen went to the original settings.
Re: Graphic Cards
Many thanks for your assistance Steve, all working as should now, I can see the difference with the new Card.
