Please help.
I've been using EZScenery for quite a few months now. Been having good results and ez to use.
I recently installed Instant Scenery to compare to EZS.
IS has a Library Maker with it so you can organize your scenery files.
Here's the problem.
Ever since installing IS when I unzip ANY bgl file, it now turns into a Library Maker document file.
So I deleted IS but still have the same problem.
Has anyone experienced this before and if so how do I fix it?

Never heard of nor had that problem.
It sounds like you've somehow assocated the bgl file extension with Library Maker which is a separate exe application from Instant Scenery itself. Libarary Maker actually runs "outside" IS.
I'd manually doublecheck that you have actually deleted the LM exe file by looking in the file structure - probably under ..\Program Files\Instant Scenery. If it's still there, then delete it. If not, then do a global search for LibraryMaker.exe.
If still not found, then I don't have any ideas how to help.

I also have never had a problem with IS. Was your version 1.04? You should post question over at the IS Forum.

FSDiscover has been very helpful in solving problems with the program.

I'm not sure that the problem was related to IS as much as it was the Library Maker.
I deleted IS but all my bgl files remained associated with the Library Maker...even though it had been deleted.
Several searches for any LM files found nothing. So then I was even more confused.
I decided to select a restore point several days before installing IS.
After doing that all is back to normal.
Since I'm using FS9 I'll just stick with EZScenery.
Thanks everyone for the interest.
