FS9 disc 4

Post by aerogator »

Hey guys, does anyone know if disc 4 is available anywhwere without having to buy the whole thing again?

Somehow my disc just broke in half. Not sure how it happened but when I went to put it in my drive it was in two pieces. :(

Thanks,

I found the patch. Its actually what I need for now. I did not realize it worked that way, but for the time being, I'm back in business (until I have to do a reinstall).

Thanks guys :D

I normally would not suggest this, but as you've purchased the program, you have a couple of choices.

Contact MS and see if they will sell you a replacement disk. I've had success with this method once in 15 years - for an MS Office disk. They required "original packaging proof" which, pack rat that I was, I was able to supply. The downside was they didn't return my "proof", so if a disc died again, I'd have been screwed.

One other possibility, and it's a personal choice, is to look for a torrent which you then download and burn the CD you've lost.

Soley based on my personal experience, the second method is more likely to return acceptable results. I'm not suggesting anyone steal anything - you'd be replacing something you have paid for once already.

Depending on where you live, you can buy FS9 for next to nothing.
Wal-Mart has them in the US for under 20USD.

I've tried looking for it in all the usual places: Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, Game Stop, and several others. They all have plenty of FSX (what does that tell you? ) and even a few FS2002, but I haven't been able to find FS9. I'm sure I can get it from Amazon or Ebay though.

Thanks, guys for your help. :D

I agree with Mark. If you did a search on say torrentz.com for FS9 or FS2004 you will find several links there.
