I appear to have lost both rudder and nosewheel control.At first I suspected my joystick (a new logitech Attack 3 ) so I plugged in my old windows sidewinder joystick and have the same problem! I have re-calibrated both joysticks and still have the same problem.I suspect acorrupt file but have no idea where to look! Anyone got any ideas?

OK might be a really simple question and you may have done so already but have you got your joystick enabled in flightsim? (Ctrl-K)

Yes ,it was the first thing I checked.I have tried a variety of aircraft,just to make sure it wasn't a particular model.

auto rudder was unchecked! I have tried checking it, which now gives me nose wheel control,but still no rudder!

I would try to reinstall the drivers or look for updated ones.

Could it be as simple as the fact that your rudder assignments have been lost from inside FS9? I have had that before when changing joysticks that it will wipe out some/all previous settings.

Yes i suspect the rudder settings were either corrupted or wiped out when changing controllers.I am going to install fs9 on a separate hard drive and see if that works.Thanks for all the help and advice.

I would just re-add them, or add them, in FS9 first.
