FS2004 won't run after re-install!

I have just re-installed FS2004,but when I click on the icon,the disc runs in the drive but nothing happens! Anyone got any ideas? I have re-installed the game a couple of times but keep getting the same results!

Sorry can't help then, as I use XP. I assume that you have checked for a permissions problem, so i will let others that have that OS try to help you.

Found a ,no CD patch file for fs9 ,that allows me to run fs9 without cd4 and it works fine,so problem solved!

I'm having trouble with a DVD drive in Vista, where did you get the patch and I assume it is okay?

I got it from the UKMIL site,but it was widely available a couple of years back.File is called FS2004NoCD

I found them here: http://www.hermit.supanet.com/ I say them as there is one for not patched (ver 9.0) and patched (ver 9.1). I have nothing to do with the site, so run virus checker on the file once you have it before you open it. Don't mean to scare you, just being cautious.
