Gents,
This is a silly one, but it's frustrating my attempts to cure it. Sometime during a FS9 session my view zoom keys stopped working ('-' and '='), and I can no longer zoom. I wasn't altering anything and it's never happened before. You don't appear to be able to set those controls in the key assignments and the actual keys are working fine on any other application. I'd be grateful if anybody has any ideas?
Gary

Re: Keys in FS9 no longer working
Have you tried hitting the "S" key to change your view then try the + and - keys to see if zoom returns? This usually works for me.

Hi,
Thanks for the attempt, but no luck. 'S' does still change views but appears to have no effect on my loss of zoom. Any further ideas?

Gary,
One "sure fire" way.
Go to your Docs/Settings/Applications/Microsoft/FS9 folder and move the FS9 configuration file out of there.
Restart the sim and FS9 will create a new cfg. It means you'll need to re-set your display settings etc., but should cure the problem.

I was thinking that also. Hate doing it though because of all the tweaks I have done.

Re: Keys in FS9 no longer working
Those keys are set-able Try adding '-' for 'Decrease Selection' and '=' for 'Increase Selection'.
The only other thing that i can think of is that you have Caps Lock set on.

Did you try just clicking once somewhere on the "windshield"?? That works for me.

Re: Keys in FS9 no longer working
Thanks for the further info gents. I'm away from my FS PC for a while so won't be able to try the 'cfg' file method just yet. I'll check down the key selections again first - it is possible I may have missed them as I wasn't looking for increase/decrease selection, I was trying to find something in the 'zoom' category in the view commands. I'll post the results. Many thanks for the help again.

Hi,
Sorted it. Bit embarrassing really, the 'increase/decrease' selection was the answer. I never realised that was the zoom function, should have realised really. I can't think why they were suddenly deselected though, odd. Thanks again guys.
