[TheFoufoure][I've find the solution. So, I convert the texture in DXT1 format for use in FS9. I edit the MDL file with a Hexadecimal editor, change the dds into bmp and save the file.
So now, this EC-135 work fine as an AI Helo in my FS9 sky.]

Unlike most FSX textures, the helos in Traffic X are still bitmaps, but I tried the hexadecimal editor to swap out the DDS references in the model and it worked well as far as displaying the textures, but then FS9 still wouldn't load the model after I'd compiled some test flightplans..

Has anyone else played with this?

All I know is how to remove the VC using HEX, I wish I knew how to convert the models as you are doing lol.

Ha! I'm not converting anything as yet. Using Foufure's method I got the textures to show in FS Painter, but that's all. FS9 still won't load the model. So I'm wondering if there is a step missing, or indeed if there is no step and it can't be done..

Hi Jon, I have a feeling it can't be done, every post I've ever read on this subject the model makers themselves have said it isn't possible.
I haven't a clue on model making but I'm sure a few of the lads on here will tell you the same.

Yes, that's my feeling too but the Foufure reckons he's done it so we'll see. Mixing metaphors, I'm crossing my fingers but not holding my breath..

Hello

Where can we download all these textures ?

I'm certainly interested. I don't use Traffic360 anymore, but I sure don't mind using a model here and there, since I own a copy.

I wouldn't mind the Swiss birds although I haven't checked out whether the model and paints show up in FS9 yet.

Hello Mark

French Gendarmerie use 12 exemple of EC-135T2.

Do you envisage to do repaints of French Gendarmerie for this Heli model please ?

Thanks a lot.
