Indian C-130J-30 opinions
Busy repainting the Indian Air Force C-130J-30s.
They are similar to the RAF C4s in that they are fitted with a probe.
So the logical model is the RAF C4. The RAF C4 model has additional "lumps and bumps" in it's RWR fits.
The Italian C-130J doesn't have any extras and looks clean.
I'm in a quandry as to which is the "better" model to use....help!!!!!!

I'm guessing delivered without the IFR probes? With the probe being such a prominent feature on the fuselage, I would go with the C4 model. The additional ASE "bumps" might change as the IAF add defensive systems, I noticed the FLIR mounted under the nose in various pictures.

My gut feeling here is that the probe is the most visible item, so go with that version.
I have a feeling that the RAF ones were delivered w/o bumps but were added for work in the Asia zone. It could well be that the Indians add something similar in the future as well.

Jim:
Your repaints inspired me to breathe new life into an old project - FSX scenery for Hindon. I also did scenery for VEPH as well, since the default FSX VEPH is just a runway. Your C-130s look right at home. I uploaded it to the library, so it should be available shortly.

Re: Indian C-130J-30 opinions
FS9 scenery is in work. I also have to make some updates to fix a few minor bugs that Pete Bramley pointed out. When all of this is complete, I will upload a new version of the package including the FS9 scenery. Thanks to TheFoufure and petebramley for their help on this.
Re: Indian C-130J-30 opinions
I just uploaded version 2 of the package, which includes the FS9 scenery converted by TheFoufure. Huge thanks to him for his efforts on this. It should be available shortly.
