A bit of a nostalgia moment for me.
I used to cadge a lift to Northolt on quite a few weekends when i was at Coningsby.

Of course in them days, 207 flew Devons so a littler more sedate and passenger friendly than now.

Cheers for that, not trying to rush anyone or jump the gun so to speak.

I thought if things were uploaded then that was it,they were uploaded.

Real life is a pain isn't it at times.

To get these in the sim I think I will use the flightplans from the Marham tornado package and just replace the tornados with the F-35's.

In the aircraft CFG when it says clean and loadout, to witch model does this refer, SRVL ,STOVL, or does it really matter?

SRVL is a mode that is designed only for use on ships.
STOVL is going to be a mode that they will practise on and use occasionally but generally speaking I would assume that CTOL would be the norm.
Much like the Harrier although they did practise STOVL and VTOL the majority of the time they used CTOL.

If you want to know the sort of percentages involved then you will need the input of people that sit at the end of runways to help you out.

Thanks for the reply Steve. The reason I asked was in the copy of the aircraft CFG the first aircraft uses the "CTOL_clean" model then after that it says just Loadout , clean or VTOL models.

That makes sense to check, Paul.

I think it is like any pack produced by developer or user. You are free to use whatever model you like. However the SRVL models are meant to be used only by ones operating from a ship and at the moment the SRVL mode is only used by UK aircraft.

That doesn't mean that other F-35D users won't adopt it in the future that is purely just what was known at the time of the original pack release.

This is the reason I answered why I did and not with a single specific answer. Apologies if I confused some people.
