TuAF S-70A-28

Post by f4nutter »

I started with a very easy Jandarma S-70A and plan to do the Turkish Armed Forces but .....I cant find any serial numbers that say which serial belongs to what model, I.E. one with the sticky out nose or just rounded. If anyone can help with the serials it would be very much appreciated.

From what I can tell on the Jandarma S-70As, there are the -17s and -28s (the upgraded S-70s), but looks like they all have the "duck bill" nose for the EO/FLIR sensor. The Polis seem to have just normal nose S-70As.

Always nice to see another gap being filled. There don't seem to be as many images of these around. If I can dig up anything useful I will let you know.

You've probably already sorted it out but I think the flag on the tail should be the other way around-ie crescent towards the front (on both sides of the airframe).

these will be the 3 main textures with a good mix of all 3, there's not much photo references out there.
