AI Seaking

Post by lewis »

Been messing around with Chris Jones Seaking in US Navy textures. Does anybody knows if Chris made a SH-3 model, I am using the HAR3 model since it's the only one I have found. Tried to Alpha out the radar dome and the engines filters but couldn't.

PS. Found a MK50 model but it has the dome and filters.

There was a RAN Sea King Mk 50 and 6 schemes supplied in the ADF AI package from those nice VOZ people. Would that do you you?

Yea Scott, that is where I foung the MK50, in the ADF AI package. I believe it's what you are looking for.
Here is another repaint of Chris's Seaking, this time to be stationed at Elizabeth City C G with the H-60's and the HH-65. Still some details to fix.

I saw that but I didn't know it was for this model.

Thanks!

Scoot, I think you need to use the model from the ADF AI package as well. There are some differences for the Australian Navy.

Why can’t they keep the colours in the bloody paint pots and just leave them grey

I will, but I do need the approval of the model and FDE developers (Rob Nieuwenhoven and Mike MacIntyre), before I can release it. I will be out of town for the next week, meaning that it will have to be on hold for the time being. I am also working on some flight plans for the Seakings in the Jacksonville NAS area, Mayport, Cecil NAS and Jacksonville Intl. So heads up for this small package.

Lewis,
Great job and looks way better than the older AI Sea King I have flying around as station SAR. The flightline at NAS Jax looks great, I was stationed there in the 90's, at the time we had HS-1 and USNR HS-75 still flying them.

I noticed the Seaking on the AS Enterprise. If I remember the readme, there is a traffic file that Alphasim included for their SeaKing. Free pre-made flight plans. :)

It's the Alphasim F/P. I just replaced the Seaking with Robs model and my fictitional repaintings. I will be making some F/P for these helos flying out of Jacksonville NAS (KNIP) to the adjacent areas, so be on the lookout. Lewis
