Post by MLMC »

Is anybody up for preparing a repaint of the 120th Fighter Wing's F-15C's?

Yes, the picture thing looks to be the hard part of all this. If I find something I will let you know. Thanks.

I found a video with the new paint for the F-15's it seems they kept them the same as the F-16's except on the inside of the tail it has "Vigilantes"

and some shots...

Think they all have the same bullhorn/skull image on the tails? I have no clue. I have done some google searches and haven't really found much. I have no idea what the #'s might be. I just kind of thought about fiddling with the airport a bit, as it was awfully generic in the default setting, as well as being in the neighborhood of where I fly in FS. Like I was saying in another index, I released the AFCAD to Avsim, and I may work on some flightplans in the near future. Alas, it is tax time, and I am self-employed, which makes tax season a total nightmare! Add on to that a company that owes me (and partners) money that apparently has had it's assets frozen! What a mess. Not only do I enjoy FS because of the flying aspect, but also for an escape from the nonsense I have to deal with for real! I will keep looking for more stuff as far as pics go. In the meantime, I may just try to write some plans and use generic paints for the F-15's.

I am always interested... especially with paints, as I can't paint worth a hoot. Thanks!

I do agree the markings looked better on the F-16, but I also wouldn't think they would want to change them, who knows maybe they will in the future 8)

Great paints. Not a request, just checking to see if you guys simply added these into the old pre-MAIW ANG Plains package flightplans, swapping the Vipers for Eagles?

That's exactly what I did. I seem to remember that there were either too many, or too few, serials to directly replace line for line.
