Too bad the E-2C has no wings folded when it is parked on the apron . It would be more realistic , especially when it is parked on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier.

Maybe one day there will be a new AI model.

Don't expect much everyone. I do not paint that often anymore. It took me 3 years just to finish the aetc t-38s.

Again thanks for taking the time to run these paints. I tested the VAW-120 pack and the E-2s look great. I did not think the models changed from Abacus FD5 to 6, as my C-2 textures are not showing. In imagetool they look the same, just different filenames.

Chris if they are indeed the same, just change the file name and they should work.

Flyin Illini,
Just read an article in Armed Forces Daily about the current state of F-18s at Lemoore. The following squadrons have transitioned from baby Bugs to Supers: VFA-97,VFA-151, VFA-192, VFA-25. Just getting home from deployment, -94 and -113 are next to switch out, 94 will become a "F" squadron. On the east side, VFA-87 traded in their A+ for Es.

Hi everyone. My time has finally come to an end here. I want to thank you all for a lot of support that you have given me. I got to make several packages and really enjoyed sharing them and all of my repaints with you. My passion for flight sim is still here and I am still painting flyable models that I want to fly as on fs2004 but will no longer be doing AI. I will leave my account open if anyone needs any advice or help in regards to anything aviation related. Thank you all again for the support over the years!

Very cool, much like the stock FSX-A F-18 in VFA-132 colors.

i manage a liquor store and i have a wiley old vet who comes in. He flew on P-3's from VP-16 in the early 80's. I told him i was going to paint his aircraft, what he doesn't know is im going to print a 8x10 and give it to him as a gift. It will not be one of these however as i screwed up my recorder. As you can see, only one prop is turning. Mistake of flying a single engine aircraft for a four engine bird. lesson learned lol.

It's ok, P-3s can fly on 1 engine...to the scene of the crash.
