Font Query

Post by jimrodger »

Past repaints of Italian Air Force have used a "outlined" style font as seen here.

http://www.navyrecognition.com/index.ph ... -2017.html

Anyone any ideas if/where this font is available please.

Many Thanks

Jim

Jim im not sure what software youre using but if using the likes of Paint Shop Pro, you would choose your font and set it to forground and remove background that will then give the outline effect you see on that image!

Much thanks

It may be very similar to "Arial Hollow"

Jim

The font looks like AV Rounded Straight.

As Mark said, you make the background transparent or the same colour as the aircraft you want it to go onto.

I think this font will require each number on a separate layer. The spacing is not good.

Ask to John which grey he used for the Italian KC-767.
BTW, I'm interested when finished...

Better?

I think John's is just a shade too dark/grey for the P-72.
