Blue Angels Homecoming NAS Pensacola Day 2

Post by shaggy22 »

Day 2 i figured warranted a new thread, same aircraft as before but in much better weather, it was perfect all day long. There won't be as many pics as day 1 as we positioned ourselves well away from from the crowd in a grandstand with only the 6 of us in it. We were not far from the action for the good stuff though , with a few passing straight overhead & with the sun being where it was for the Blue Angels at the end we got som very nice shots. I'll start slowly this time with some Stearmans, T-28C & the Shockwave jet truck, not the most exciting I know but it gets better i promise.

When I was first stationed at NAS Pcola, the TA-4Js were still flying, great to see a Scooter in the air again.

If you follow Randy's FB page, he has some awesome videos from his airshow performances.

That certainly is a beautiful machine!
