East Coast A-10 Demo Team 2007

Post by msm8378 »

While moving files to a new hard drive I ran across these photos of an A-10 with the East Coast Demo Team in 2007. Photos taken at the "Week of the Eagles" Airshow at KHOP - Campbell AAF...

Not sure if this scheme was ever done by one of the pro repainters who replicate these special schemes or not...

Enjoy...

Wow, an A-10A+. Not sure if the travel pods were modeled on the then RWAI A-10. There is a non-MAIW Moody AFB package that had the 23rd FW paints.

Hey Chris... I have that package for Moody. You are also correct in pointing out that these are travel pods. I was under the impression that while they were travel pods, they had the same characteristics as drop tanks, but that does not appear to be so. The RWAI models included a LONG RANGE configuration featuring 4 drop tanks.
