Big thanks again for the comments, sorry for the fact I have been unable to post, I've been away at an adventure centre conquering my fear of heights with 75ft tree climbs and abseiling etc;
Barry, you couldn't have chose a better time to post that because the day after Duxford was another day in Suffolk, this time a succesful trip to the Hall aswell as the Heath. Arriving there thinking the Galaxy would have arrived 10 minutes before we did I was surprised to see crew standing around it and then getting in. Just a shame nothing appeared in the beautiful light at about 7PM but you can't have it all.
A rather large spell of sunshine made for some lovely Eagle recovery shots...
The office...
Another close up...
On the road to the Hall there is a lay-by where they bank onto finals and as one was already in the circuit we headed there for one...
Some unusual light on the 2nd KC135 after a heavy rain shower...
Galaxy...
Look at that light/cloud...
The 3rd arriving KC135 doing it's dose of touch and goes strikes on some lovely sun...
More '135s the next day, some in Black and White.. *hint*

Would you guys like a new MAIW forum dedicated solely to aviation photography? All the images would need to be linked to a third party site but other than that, those of you that like to spot and take pictures would be welcome to post your shots here for all to see.

As promised, Black and White 135...
Well, after 3 superb succesful days we weren't going to complain, however I got news from the net that there were 2 RC-135's in and I had always wanted to catch one so seeing as I had done well with the Eagles in the past visits to Lakenheath we started our day at Mildenhall. Engines had already started on some locals and 3 KC-135's went from 100 ARW...
While waiting for stuff to happen I fired off a couple of shots of the surrounding flora...
One of the based KC-135s that had just came off came back to perform a few approaches
A nice stateside surprise was this MacDill AFB KC-135
We were going to leave at quarter to 10 but then this guy taxied out...
The tail band reads "First in flight"
As it was holding I could see the RC135 slowly taxi on the runway from the other end but thought it might have been a tow wagon as it was going very slowly but no, it taxied down the runway and used the underrun aswell. :yahoo:
We then rushed off to Lakenheath where we got the majority of the recoveries...
Some C's and E's went up...
and came back...
and with that it was time to return to Mildenhall...
and then back to Lakenheath for evening sorties, 12 E's came out, shame no C's but no complaints! Lush light!
Like this one...
Hell yeah! Next stop RIAT.

Well I've finally reached my RIAT shots for editing, Wednesday was a good day. Arriving at the park and view as the B1 was rolling down the runway, I managed to get up to the barrier in time to get photos. The first few hours were very annoying, a B52, 2 C130, B757, 2 Tornados, 1 Typhoon and an E3D all turning off early. : Leaving me with a B1B, KC10 and 2 Swiss Hornets before deciding to move to the other end. Then the sun came out and what a pleasant day it was for the remainder. It was nice to see alot of old faces, Steve (Iskra750), Andy (Boff180), Ian and Al (Swingy) along with meeting a few new ones too Lee (LeeHathaway) and Paul (PaulK.)
