Lossiemouth F&F day..

Post by MACC »

Hey guys, had a good day out at Lossie, very cold, very wet until the flying stopped. But I stayed on and I'm glad I did, the weather made for interesting shots like vapour and wet runways. Tried to have a bit of creativity in the statics representing families day. All are at 500x and 1024x are on my flickr.
Enjoy :-D .

That had to be one of the worst days I've had the pleasure to stand out in the rain at Lossie.

Have to say though that it was worth it for the Typhoon. First time I've seen it display and it was pretty dammed good. Lots of noise just like the old days and nicely thrown about by the jockey.

The Reds did a good show but nothing spectacular.

By the end of their display I decided enough was enough and headed home. Will add some pics shortly - though nothing as good as Macc has.

Thanks guys, I just saw that shot after I put my long lens on for the puma departing. It wasn't one of my planned shots

@fs39; Mmmm, I wasn't too wet as I stayed till 4 and had dried off.

I felt sorry for the pilot; he must have been frozen up there.
