Elmendorf and Kadena

Post by Firebird »

Gents,
I am trying to do something but I have received some conflicting information and so I am throwing this question out there in the hope that one of you can solve this.

It concerns the E-3s at the places above. One person has given me some info with 2x E-3s at AK and 4x at ZZ. Other info, through Scramble, has 2x at AK and only 1 at ZZ. I think that the scramble info maybe out of date.

Now the original MAIW package has 2x at AK and 3x at ZZ.

Does anybody have any info to clear the confusion up? I personally think that there has to be at 2 at either place. So if you have any numbers and serials it would be a great help.
Also if you could state whether the info was current or not, and if not when it was current, that would help.

Thanks.
Steve

Thanks for that Guys.
It is quite troublesome to find two specialist sites like these with different info. Makes it very difficult to be accurate.

E-3B 75-0558 feb14 960th, Tinker OK
E-3B 78-0577 feb14 961st, Kadena
E-3C 82-0006 jan14 964th, Tinker Ok
E-3C 83-0009 mar14 960th, Tinker OK

Most of those planes look to have bee re-assigned or were on TDY when they were at Kadena.
