Swiss F5 crashed today pilot ejected
I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Jesus. That's the 4th display team aircraft in a few weeks. Let's hope for an incident free rest of season. :-(
(amended as I've just seen Firebirds post on the Russian Knights)

Actually just week. As of my post it's been about 7 days and 3 hours since Thunderbird 6 "landed" without her pilot.

That is really quite a lot of metal missing from a control surface, I know the F-5 is not as hot in the landing phase as it's cousin the T-38, but good job getting her down.

Still waiting to hear what happened with Thunderbird 6. There's a rumor floating around that it ran out of fuel.....

The Air Force stated they removed 800lbs of fuel from the airframe plus fuel contaminated dirt... so there was some left on board.
