Who over there has a political scandal that they need to avoid getting public attention by distracting the news media?

Just wondering because the 2014 inquiry into this matter pretty solidly slammed the RAF, including the unfortunately deceased pilot, for not checking the seat handle position and failing to maintain the seat properly.

I was thinking that unless the maintenance was done by Martin-Baker and was found to be faulty I can't see how they can win. The seats have been in Hawks for decades and saved lives. It is a bit late to sue them over a perceived design flaw.
