I've searched for an answer for this and come up dry. Maybe someone here knows. Some USAF CV-22s have yellow frames around the front windshield... Occasionally. They seem to come and go. Does anyone know what/why?

I've e-mailed the question to the Public Affairs office at the 352nd SOG at Mildenhall.

Re: CV-22 yellow windshield frames?
Normally that is related to a recently replaced windshield after a rock has cracked it, happened all the time in the H-60 and mostly one side at a time.
