Does anyone know how to create photo tiles with Sbuilder and if so could you please explain

Dale, I use sbuilderX so I assume it's the same. The process involves slecting a point on the area you wish to create the scenery for using the show map then you download the tiles from your chosen vendor, Google works fine for me.

Once the background is filled in an visible from the tiles, zoom in or out to your desired resolution and draw a box with the mouse and sbuilder will create the background bmp file.

There are some good tutorials around

I've never found a good tute for FS9 Sbuilders. I know it works a bit differently between the two versions.

IIRC the main difference is that X allows you to download the tiles straight from the Google Earth servers, with 9 it's a hell of a lot more tedious.

Personally I'm still flabbergasted at why 9 all of the sudden has decided to refuse any background map I try to add :| (but that's for another thread).
