Panavia Tornados for FS9, FSX and P3Dv4

Post by Greg »

John Young has released all parts of his modern day Tornado AI models.

"Way back in mid-September, I responded to Manfred’s disappointment that he had no Tornado GR1 AI aircraft for his in-progress retro RAF Brüggen scenery for P3Dv4. The reason for his disappointment is that we have no license to convert the Fernado Martinez (FMAI) FS9 model in the way that we do for many other of our FS9 AI aircraft. I was only too pleased to help and the following summarises what happened after and how a full range of Tornado’s is becoming available for all 3 sim versions."

Read the full briefing.

A really BIG BIG thank you for this christmas gift, it's just great to have such a marvelous aircraft also in P3D now.

Just a little question: Will they be integrated into Matrix in the near future?

Thanks again and merry christmas to all of the team!
Always happy landings

Yes they will. I'm hoping to finish the region updates somewhere during the holiday break.

Just wait for the new P3Dv4 models with the correct afterburners Greg (see JYAI Tornado thread). I'll have them done tomorrow hopefully, but Kev has offered to test them just to make sure.

John, a long awaited milestone for military AI in P3Dv4! The Tornado is one of the base military jets in history ever. Would have been a big void in the flightsim universe 8)
We have to thank you for this outstanding effort and great work to give us back these aircraft!
Regards, Manfred.

Folks, take your time, all you need :-) For now it's time for peace and family, not the community. The question was whether to install those birds by hand manually or to wait.
Always happy landings

hi,
I have a problem, I installed all Tornado manual, I have them all on P3Dv4 except the German Tornado. Yet I put the Models of the P3D file with the textures and the conversion of the AI Traffic File as for others but I have nothing ...

Thank you for your response and your work.
