MAIW with P3D v3.4

I know this has been discussed many times, and the MAIW team has done GREAT work, but my question is can I use the present packages in P3D or is that variant upon which packages or is there a process for making this work.

I truly appreciate your assistance in this matter.

I would try to answer this question but to be honest the best person to answer that is the person that literally wrote the manual on conversion from FS9 to FSX and happens to have P3D so I must defer to him.
