Hello All,
Been away for a awhile, I recently purchased a new gaming hard drive to put my flight sims on.
I noticed a problem when I started to download and transfer my maiw files to my new hard drive.
The scenery for the packages shows up fine, but the AI Traffic isn't?
I am doing everything correctly I thought, like converting the FS9 files to FSX in AIFP.
The weird thing is, that NAS Top gun package works fine, but none of the others, including whiteman afb, barksdale and andrews afb.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jon

Re: Trouble getting AI planes on new hard drive
OK so to start from the beginning - is this an FS9 to FSX conversion or moving FSX thing?

Re: Trouble getting AI planes on new hard drive
Hello Steve,
sorry about the delayed response, yes this is FS9 to FSX.
I did it once before on my old computer with no problems.
Did I miss a step in the process with the AIPF
Thanks,
Jon

Re: Trouble getting AI planes on new hard drive
No problem.
Well you probably converted the flightplans to FSX standard using AIFP but did you remember to update the Humvee traffic as well?
If not that would still be in FS9 format and will wipe out any FSX traffic for quite some considerable distance.
Use the AIFP tool that checks for any FS9 traffic 'Find FS9 Traffic Files' and convert those as well.
Then see how we go.
