Retro USAFE Falcons
Re: Retro USAFE Falcons
I have just checked around for Hahn and found that there is no scenery and no afcad. It is like EDAH never existed. They even reallocated the ICAO.
It seems that for military bases they are better off closing than going civvie, as you are more likely to get some scenery.
I guess the best bet is that either Rocket or Menno can come up with something.

Re: Retro USAFE Falcons
Some more
I've got the Ramstein F-16's painted up and after a couple of checks they should be ready to go. All goes well they should be available by the end of the week. The guys at ACG have a retro Bentwaters and Woodbridge package that has the A-10's and the Aggressor F-16's. If I'm not mistaken I think that covers all the retro USAFE Falcons.

Just flew into Hahn on my way home from A-Stan. You can see the old USAFE buildings, sorry couldn't get out to take any pics.

Re: Retro USAFE Falcons
Guys,
With reference to Hahn AFB. There is indeed a scenery available here;
http://www.germanairports.net/temp/G101 ... n-Free.zip
It's a cut down (lite) version of German Airports 4 and includes the HAS sites. Two bgls for statics need to be removed (EDFH-1_stat and EDFH-1_stat_LIB).
The big kick in the teeth is that there is no afcad/ade file included.
Does anyone fancy having a crack at doing the parking so we can give these super repaints a nice home?

Re: Retro USAFE Falcons
At no risk or cost whatsoever, I had a wee go at doing an afcad to fit the scenery mentioned above.
A hell of a lot of license (note not artistic!!) went into this.
It's not great, it's not even pretty, but it may form the basis for someone with more skill to pick it up and sort it.
Note - I have my retro stuff on a separate install of Fs9. As such I do not have civilian commercial traffic, so I left the terminal area, pretty much alone, apart from some GA spots.
