MBAI XB-70 Valkyrie

Post by Fokket50 »

While still finishing the Blackbird, I started with another project : The North American XB-70 Valkyrie

Even though only 2 have ever flown, it is an aircraft I wanted to do for a while. When going supersonic the wings will move downwards, like the real deal, and it will have the other more usual xml codes.

Will try to get the Blackbird out soon, followed by this one. Next helicopters

Have added the animated nose visor that was used in supersonic flight like Concorde had and the unique main undercarriage rotation sequence?

The nose visor is not included (yet, model is not finished), the undercarriage sequence is there, it took some time to find out how it works and how to model it, as it ain't simple, but it works now.

This project has been on hold for a few weeks, I have been too busy at work. I am now finishing the Blackbird, and after that it will be the XB-70.

Here's a pic of the inauguration ceremony KPMD . The hanger where they were built can be seen just over in the distance just over the tail of the C-54
