OwlAI has gone live with the first four F-104 AI packages

Post by gsnde »

Hi again :smt001

I am happy to announce that today OwlAI has released the first four F-104 packages of the Ralf Kreibich Collection. For the time being they will be only available from the download center of The Owl's Nest. Every package has its installer, which will offer you to install into FS9 and/or FSX. If you feel paranoid about installers you can choose to extract everything into your %temp% folder - but then its your turn to put everything where it belongs.

You will find a Canadian, a German, an Italian and a special US package, the later containing the Starfighter Display Team and some NASA paints.

Please have a look into the documentation - a link will be created in your start menu under The Owl's Tools / Owl-AI. It contains a bunch of eye candy screen shots and all the credits that need to be given. My special thank goes out to Ray Parker. Ray, it is a pleasure to work with you - I hope we will continue like this in future

Cheers,
Martin

Thank you. What else has been released? Most likely I did miss it.
I hardly found any time these last months to do anything else than keeping the MAIW pages on The Owl's Nest a jour.
Cheers,
Martin

Thank you very much for the Starfighter packages.

By the way for those who would like to have a flyable F-104 to go along with these packages, the Captain Sim F-104 is on sale at Aerosoft for little money (8€ or ca. 10$) at the moment.

Not yet, Wolfhound.
You will find flight plans for both FS9 and FSX within this week at The Owl's Nest.

If somebody is interested in the F-104 JASDF package - it has been released just now 8). You find it at the same place in the Download Center.

I realize there is no better way to hide information than to put it into a documentation
Therefore I like to point something out. Both Ray and Magic Mike have put lots of effort and time into the flight model to get the best out of the F-104 model.

At the end I did not want to nullify either Mike's or Ray's work. Therefore I have released the F-104 with Ray's flight model as a starter. In short time I will give you a tool with which you can switch between both flight models.
Cheers,
Martin
