FSX Cockpit Fixes

For your convenience I will keep a log of all FSX cockpit fixes I made here in this thread. I am currently repackaging the older fixes so that they are identical to the new packages. So when you read "in packaging" this means that the work is actually done already. At the end you will find the direct link to the FlightSim download for every package.

While it is a great technique in FS9 to hide aircraft elements like tanks and rockets by applying an alpha channel, this leads to strange side effects in FSX. If you don't like these side effects you can use the patches ("Alpha Patch" in the lists below). They correct this problem by making all elements visible.

They slowly appear on FlightSim. I also added everything to the Owl's Nest Download center and to the Military AI Reference.

hmmmmm how strange, can't say I've heard of this one before. Are you missing a texture file somewhere in the main textures folder.

I could be wrong but isn't a black canopy the sign that the canopy texture isn't there?

No fix needed for the F-15. Missing texture is most likely

refl_texture.bmp

You can find it in

maiw_langley_afb_v2.

No, I have to edit each texture. I am off for a two week vacation starting tomorrow, but will create and release the fix afterwards.

I am back from vacation. During this week I will make the cockpit fixes for the Tornados and Typhoons of the RAF Coningsby 2013 Update package and the Italian Air Force Tornado V.2.0 package. Expect those to get released next weekend.
