COMAC aside, mainland China seems to be virgin territory for MAIW. I guess scenery design is tricky!

Is it bad form to mention avsimrus on here? :-) Some interesting stuff there in patches, though a lot needs converted from FS9. It was the conversion work here on MAIW that swung me to P3Dv4.
I appreciate the common libraries too, which I don't see on the Russian site yet.

Matrix made it easy of course to get my P3D populated. Before I was aware of Greg's update, I started patching it myself in my own messy way. I reckon he's got plenty work to do to partition new packages into the different continents. Has anyone considered arranging their packages in the same way beforehand?

Some asian models will be welcom, like J-10, J-20, J-31, J-8, H-6, or JF-17 to fly next some western aircrafts in Yellow Sea or Indian Ocean

MD 500?

Close to 5000 made, and it has military and civil uses.

That's a good suggestion Jon, thanks and in fact I almost made it a little while ago when Brent was more active in the Japanese scene. It's on the list, but at the moment, I'm working on something else that's also been suggested here.

Hi Dave,

You can take as long as you like. It's just a suggestion, not a commitment on my part. The next project is spoken for, but after that I will revisit what's been posted here and see what I feel like making.

Please do the Tu-160. Its back in production with upgraded engines and Tupolev are planning an SST based on the 160.

I decided against the Lynx a little while ago because of problems with scenery. Brian's version of Yeovilton requires so many third party libraries it is difficult to set up in FS9, never mind FSX and P3D. Some buildings also need removing to update the airfield for current parking. If I were to make a Lynx, it would be model only. I think in any case, Mins has produced a version, but I am not sure if he has uploaded it.

Next project is another helicopter (Gazelle for Miljan), so I may want a break from that type and do something fixed-wing after that.

Good news. And great recompense for Miljan who give us a lot of very nice models and repaints.

Gazelle is a nice little model. But lot of versions (France, UK, Yougoslavia and after Serbia, Bosnia, lot of African countries, Syria, Egypt, ...).

I'm happy with this choice. Thanks a lot John.

That would be nice to have XW898 G in my system. I flew in it back in the say that the unit was called CFS(H).

That's a nice Christmas/New year treat John, looking forward to adding a Gazelle to my 80's retro set up. Plenty of RAF, RN and Army aircraft as well lots of overseas operators. I started work on a Shawbury scenery some time ago. I'll have to dig it out and finish it off as a home for the Gazelles.

Hopefully you'll change your mind about the Lynx in the future, even if the scenery isn't there for it.
