Gary my contribution was more in the way of scenery for RAF MP, im sure Ray will also get around to painting any other specials when he has time.

Much thanks

Not repaints, original paints. Ray contributed all of the Saudi paints and the Spanish and the Germans, including the specials.

It was a pleasure to be part of this project although my contribution is small. Great model, great repaints and everything that goes with it. MAIW was always place of big team effort.

Maybe this can be useful for someone.
I think that I had almost all the NBAI Typhoon flying around my skies.
I'm tidying up the old installation, here a list of traffic files no more needed.
Not all of them come from official MAIW packages, but if you find them on your HD, you can safely delete them (or back-up)

I think there may be a small error in the Saudi package.

The FP has ac# 59-65 and 67-71 as JYAI_EF2000_80sq T2 ****

the aircraft.cfg has them as JYAI_EF2000_80sq F2 ****

Last little problem found with RAF AC.

[fltsim.54]
title=JYAI_Typhoon_FGR4_3Sqn_950
sim=JYAI_Eurofighter_Typhoon_AI_ONLY
model=FGR4_standard
texture=3_950_T

must be texture=3_950

Then, I'd like to know what a MPAI_Tu-95MS-6 is doing in the flightplans for the Luftwaffe TLG 71... :smt005 :smt005 :smt005

title=JYAI_Typhoon_FGR4_41Sqn_433
sim=JYAI_Eurofighter_Typhoon_AI_ONLY
model=FGR4_airbrake
texture=41_433

3_950_T3 is here !

[fltsim.7]

Can you combine the aircraft into one folder? Or do the folders have to be seprate?

To answer this question it is the same as with ANY model AI or not. Use this principle every time.

Using any text compare software check to see if there are any differences between the two IGNORING the fltsim entries. If there are none you can combine.
If there are small insignificances such as extra blank lines, differences in capitalisation then you can combine.

If there are differences in such things as lights, contact points, engine power, weight etc then they can't be combined.

Yes you can combine all the Typhoons into one folder if you really want 28 models, 465 paints and 465 aircraft entries in the aircraft.cfg file. For me, flexibility is more important. It's why the traffic files are broken down as they are.

Giorgio, the Tu-95MS-6 is a Tim's tease. Install the aircraft (in the Hangar) and go and intercept it.

Hi Ray, may be the FS9 Aircraft.cfg is different from the one in P3D. By the way, the texture row is wrong, at least in FS9 :)

Right, apologies, dealing with the two traffic discrepancies:

- Giorgio and Jim are correct in that there is a small mismatch "T2/F2" with the aircraft names and the aircraft.cfg file for 12 aircraft in the Saudi traffic files. The corrected files (FS9 and FSX/P3D) are in the attached zip. I'll hold off amending the download for the moment, in case I need to deal with other changes that might be flagged.

- Giorgio is also right in that in the UK FS9 aircraft.cfg file, the texture name for [fltsim.54] has an unwanted "_T" at the end and should be deleted.

- Giorgio is right again in that the FS9 aircraft.cfg file is different to the FSX/P3D one and I think Steve is probably looking at the FSX one, which is indeed, as he reports. Users should delete the unwanted "_T", but from the [fltsim.7] entry.

Dan made the UK FSX/P3D traffic files utilising 3 week programming, which is not compatible with FS9. I made the FS9 files at a different time, when the aircraft.cfg files had the squadrons in a different order. Just one of the many complications in working with 3 sim versions.

Just 3 small changes to the aircraft.cfg file aircraft entries for the Italian Typhoons in FSX and P3D (FS9 is fine):

[fltsim.92] model=EF2000_Pirate_2seat does not exist - should read EF2000_Pirate_2seat_standard

[fltsim.93] model=EF2000_Pirate_2seat does not exist - should read EF2000_Pirate_2seat_standard

[fltsim.50] model=EF2000_no_weps does not exist - should read EF2000_Pirate_no_weps

Thanks to Pete for spotting those errors.

Just a small hint for the flightplans of the German Eurofghters: the Airbase Jever (ETNJ) ist closed since September 2013. Apart from this you have done a great work, thank you very much!

They are Baltic waypoints I think so try some of the Baltic packages mate
