RAF St. Mawgan by Brian Clarke

Post by delbydoo »

My apologies to Brian on getting this out so late, but we are now at the point where he has possibly made his biggest scenery yet - the massive expanse that is RAF St. Mawgan in Cornwall.

Download it here http://1drv.ms/1BGrUB6

Will be up on avsim later in the day

Hi Dave.

The HAS's can be found in the MAIW RAF 121 EAW RAF Coningsby package and can be found on Avsim

Look for (maiw_raf_coningsby.zip) by Barry Taylor and Nick Black

I have an airfield (EGHQ Newquay) already occupying the site of EGDG. This was installed from someone's AFCAD that I installed way back in 2009. So, is this a fictional code that doesn't exist in the real world and that I can safely delete - no sign of any traffic making it's way to or from it?
Regards,

Alan

When RAF St Mawgan (EGDG) was closed as an operational RAF airfield in 2008, the runways etc were handed over to Newquay Airport (EGHQ).
Although RAF St Mawgan still exists it has no flying commitment.

Do you definitely have that package, which was the original package and now obsolete? Or have you installed the 2013 Coningsby package, with the new scenery? If you have the latter, then you won't have the HAS's.

You're bloomin right Brian! I got newer package! Is there a particular file I can obtain & use from the original package (I do have it, but not in use) so that I get the HAS's?

The AI model is not from this pack, but from the freeware scenery of Waddington, on UKMIL web site
