Missile Batteries

Post by ruggerfan »

I have been basically working "or living" in the 60's as far as FSX is concerned, mostly military, SAC, TAC, NORAD, MAC. I have noticed that a lot of installations had been col-located with air defense
missile batteries (Nike, Nike Ajax, Bomarc), and out west strategic ballistic missile silos (Atlas, Titan II, Minuteman). I was wondering if anyone would like to take a stab at these, so they could be installed by some of the more common scenery tools. And perhaps some vehicles associated with them, (Ballistic missile transporters, etc.)

Many thanks,

That's something I've been meaning to do for years. I may well do the AA missiles soon as I have plastic models of them to work from. :)

Very nice, thanks. I have researched the BOMARC's, and they had 2 different storage/launch buildings. Don't necessarily need all to be erect launchers, one up, one down and stowed. Easier to put into scenery with IS3.
