KCHS Charleston AFB Scenery

Hey, I'm new to this forum but I've been using the MAIW and other FSX stuff for a long time. I recently added the MAIW KCHS AFCAD done by Tony Dalton. The Scenery is great but I wanted to change the parking codes at the terminal parking to get my civilian AI traffic parking correctly.

Problem is, when you download the BGL into ADE (I'm using ADE 165), the AFCAD downloads the 308 separate aprons, and the program will not recompile the file into a BGL with more than 250 Aprons. Anyone have a good answer to solving this?

I just want to be able to update the parking and still recompile thanks.

Well I have tried 1.70, the latest version, and that still has a limit of 254 aprons.
So it would seem that you have a limited number of options open to you.

A. Do nothing
B. Wait until ADE will support over 300 aprons.
C. Buy AFX, which is what created the afcad.
D. Load the airfield and remove 50+aprons and then compile.
E. Ask somebody with AFX to make the changes you would like for you.

Not greatly helpful but if you give me a list of the parking spots you would like changed and exactly what you would like them changed to then I am sure that I can make those changed for you.

The problem is not with ADE but the fact it uses the "official" SDK BGL compiler from Microsoft and the latter sometimes fails when there are more than 254 aprons to be compiled. Microsoft no longer supports their SDK and I don't see Jon Masterson stepping away from full SDK-compliancy for ADE (neither do I hope he does) so we're stuck with the limit.
