Brian Clarke RAF sceneries FS9

Post by jgowing »

Post Windows 10 transition I'm getting FS9 more or less as I knew it; just one current niggle.. all my Brian Clarke RAF sceneries have a complete lack of tree textures. Everything else is there. I've been through my back up and I can't find any textures missing, but clearly I am still missing something.

Does anyone happen to know which library or libraries Brian used for the trees. I want to avoid a load of extra trial and error if I can..

Thanks in hope,

Hi Jon.

If I remember rightly the MAIW Czech scenery library was used for most if not all of my scenery. Hope that helps you.

I think the texture file you are looking for is

TREESSU_WI.BMP

I had the seasonal textures suffixed _su and _wi, but for some reason _sp and _fa were missing, and it's September.. found them and now the autumn leaves are there.

Thanks very much for your help,

Many thanks for your help Jim in getting Jon's problem sorted.

My house was burgled a couple of weeks ago and lost my computer and all my hard drives containing my work.

Never rains that it pours !!

Jeez. That is the sort of thing that is very hard to overcome.
I do hope that you didn't have any bank details etc on your PC that they can to.

Thanks Steve. No I never keep anything like bank details on the computer just in case. It obviously paid off by not doing so and one less worry. As for my work I can recover most on Avsim. Its just everything else that has taken time to build up. My Insurance company were terrific and got me up and running with a new computer to the same spec within a week so that was of some comfort. Keep up the good work on MAIW what is being achieved by the lads now is nothing short of amazing.
