Last year after 20 years of gate guardian duties, Hawker Hunter T8 (WV986) was taken apart and transferred to Tacla Taid, the Anglesey Transport Museum.
During a ceremony on 8.9.2018 RAF Valley unveiled its new Gate Guardian a 1977 BAe Hawk T1 (XX156)..

Re: RAF Valley Hawk T1 Gate Guardian
I hope he would be Greg! i love the model! especially now its been converted to FSX, i chose not to go down the editing the source route! instead i removed all animations, pilots, wheel blocks etc! made the stand in Sketchup, converted the Hawk.MDL to a BGL and placed both files in sim using Flight1's Instant Scenery.. albeit a little tricky to align up....
Much thanks

Re: RAF Valley Hawk T1 Gate Guardian
Mark, would it be possible to incorporate this into the Valley scenery? Or who would I need to ask about permission to try?
