Bize scenery

Post by VulcanDriver »

Is anyone working on an updated Brize scenery for FS9 and FSX please?

For FSX, I found a pretty good Brize scenery on this link. May need to do some modification.

If that's the Brize scenery under development for P3Dv4, I did try the work in progress copy that Paul sent me in FSX when I was testing my RAF C-130's in P3Dv4. It works fine in P3Dv4 as it was intended, but in FSX it freezes the loading. It may be that if the objects were converted from P3Dv4 format to FSX, it might then be good in FSX.

Thats right John it was compiled with the p3dv4 SDK. We may be able to compile a fsx version at some point in the future.

I use the UK2000 VFR scenery for EGVN, with an AFCAD I made myself. It works well enough.

I posted a link above with takes you to a pretty good Brize Norton scenery for FSX. Some modification may be required so the scenery can be compatible with the A400s, KC-30s, C-17s, and the 130s.

The FS9 freeware version of UK2000 Brize Norton from the Part 5 pack? I don't know how out of date it is though.

I think it is slightly more out of date than I am, but thanks John.
