I'm still tuning MAIW Field.
I've made airport elevation aligning with surrounding mesh but still have the effect of a sunken runway.
Please remind me how to get rid of it:
I try to change Elevation in AFCAD for MAIW airport but this does not work ...

Okey,
here's auto-answer: looks like that runways have their own elevations, just have to coordinate these with an overall airport elevation

You got me
The real problem was that I can not use that beautifully lookin Mike JG mod as with this mod I have disappearing aircrafts. AFCAD's Fault Finder finds some errors there. I could not succesfuly track down those errors so I reverted to your original AFCAD.
[Edit]: So here it is:

I don't know if this helps your situation or not Rip, but I know that although Runways do not have an automatic flattening function, taxiways do. Try adding a taxiway the same size as the runway underneath it. I think that Opa uses that trick to fix these type issues.

YEAH, right!
I dig to this yesterday, I'm sure that Mike JG used that trick also in his mod:

I tried that trick by myself and it worked in the end: you have to add a ghost taxiway just under a runway. You can not link it to anything however. It has a drawback btw- fault finder reports this as an error.
