Re: Mother Russia
Thanks Steve. Up to now, only Foufure ask me for the file, that I sent him by mail. If other requests will come up, I'll upload what needed, specifying that it is only in order to preserve the work of someone else. Re: MAIW SBAI Tupolev Tu-160 Blackjack Conversion Support
This certainly was a pleasant surprise to see pop up. If there is interest, I'm considering redoing my old FS9 era flightplans for at least the Tu-160 in the multi-week format (could do the Tu-95 too, but well, there's way more of them!) with a view towards, if possible, utilizing the AIGFP format t...

Re: Aerospatiale Gazelle
Thank you very much for the Gazelles and your previous projects John. Due to some annoying ISP issues I haven't been able to post at MAIW for nearly 18 months, so I've had to enjoy them without being able to comment on them here

Re: RAF Brüggen FSX/P3D - Coming, but NOT soon....
Think of Prepar3D (or P3D) as an updated and expanded version of FSX - I mean, that's basically what it is. As for licenses, pick the Academic license. It'll give you a small watermark text in the top-right part of the window, but it's barely noticable. @Manfred, many thanks for your labour of love....

Departing Ramstein
Doing some civilian AI spotting around Frankfurt, I noticed one of John's Hercs departing Ramstein - and was pleasantly surprised to learn that Orbx Germany South has a pretty good rendition of said airbase included :D https://i.imgur.com/KVLOJsc.png The AFD needs a bit of tweaking and I have to rem...

Re: Europe /Asia - incomplete installation of aircrafts
The vast majority of them are due to the models not being converted to P3Dv4 as of yet. MATRIX installs all the flightplans from the start, whether the required models and repaints are available or not.

fltsim.x number error after recent NA update
Hey Greg, just a heads up, but it looks like MAIW_JYAI_C-130 is missing some fltsim.x sections (or rather, it has skipped over a few numbers). It goes from [fltsim.70] title=JYAI_C-130T USN 164106 to [fltsim.73] title=JYAI_HC-130J_79th_RQS_09_5707 I can't remember if it actually has an effect in P3D...

Re: KLSV Nellis AFB - P3Dv4
Yeah, that. I've made a habit of checking for extra files in the Orbx folder any time I install new scenery.

Do you have any Orbx regions installed, more specifically the Southern California one?

Re: FS9 Scenery Conversion to P3D
For what it's worth, I find converting FS9 scenery to P3D to be a breeze, and definantly something that gets easier with practice. Since MATRIX has conversions of a majority of the military libraries already, I don't have to spend much time converting those, so it's usually just a matter of disablin...

Some Spanish heliports
Figured the recent conversion could use some places to park WIP for a given level of progress. I will need to add some eyecandy as otherwise they're a bit barren to say the least  All three are "greenfield" builds, so the landclass is a bit of a challenge. For instance, at Betera, the...

Re: AI AH-64 question
What I've done for the time being, is to comment out the original model= line in the aircraft.cfg (put // in front of it) and below that, copy in the model= line for a model that already exists. Some of them will look a bit strange in the sim, but if you're looking at it from a distance, it's better...

Re: AI following sloped runways - a breakthrough?
It should, in theory, be doable. Of course, if you look too close, you'll probably see the nosegear dive into the surface a fair bit, but it's better than nothing.

Re: RDAF F16 800 Years of the Dannebrog
Stunning paint Mark. I had a read up on it and was bemused to see they've done it before - the last time was after Denmark trashed Uruguay at the 1986 FIFA World Cup!  It also did a cross-country flight last saturday, which I missed as I was out of the country, but it will be doing anothe...

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials
Thanks a lot John, Brent, Steve, and whomever else has been involved in the making of these. Regarding the EC-130J package, if you're already messing with the AFD, you may wish to add a few more MIL_COMBAT spots, as the airport is also visited by F/A-18's from a variety of MAIW packages. Personally ...

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials
Looks like there's some descent FSX scenery for Harrisburg already made by Matthew Derr, hopefully the AFD won't need too much work to make room for the Commando Solos

Small error in Asia Region
Traffic_Oman_C130Js_FSX.bgl is calling HTAI C130H MJN_16_505 and HTAI C130H MJN_16_506.
But in the aircraft.cfg file these are installed as HTAI C130J MJN_16_505 and HTAI C130J MJN_16_506 (C130J instead of C130H).
