A very convincing update to v4.3.3 appeared in the app but picked up by AV and quarantined.

Re: Help with JASDF UH-60 SAR squadrons
The site manager over at J-HangarSpace believes that there are usually 2 UH-60 at each detachment, including Akita and Niigata, with the balance for training sqn, undergoing servicing or in reserve. Airframes will be swapped around frequently for servicing and to even out flight hours.

A quick correction to Tim's list:
G-BYWG is currently registered to Babcock, based at Leuchars, last flown 7 Mar 24.
G-BYVV is the other aircraft for Finland, Finnish mil serial tie up not yet known.

Re: Loring AFB in FSX
Paul, I don't think that you can simply convert the AF2_ME16_Default_Removed.bgl file because it was created for FS9, I believe you would need to create one for the FSX stock ME16 airport. The following articles should help: https://scruffyduck.screenstepslive.com/s/help_docs/m/20268/l/331645-how-do...

Re: Scenery and supporting AI for John's KC-390
Ray, Tim,
Slight correction to Tim's email - page 14 of the review lists Brazil with 30 Attack Emb 314 (A-29A) and 62 Trainer Emb-314 (A-29B). In Jun 23 a mid life upgrade was announced so many years in them yet!
cheers,
Geoff

Royal Thai Air Force retires Pilatus PC-9
With thanks to Scramble On Friday 2 February 2024, the RTAF said goodbye to the Pilatus PC-9 during a decommissioning ceremony at the RTAF Flying Training School at Kamphaeng Saen air base. Two PC-9s are kept: F19-08/34 is a gate guard at Kamphaeng Saen and F19-06/34 is preserved at the RTAF Museum ...

RTAF F-5s and AlphaJets
Hi,
Are there any repaints and FPs for the Royal Thai Air Force F-5s and AlphaJets out there please? I have Mark's F-5 40 years of service repaints but cannot see any others here or on the usual sites.
cheers,
Geoff

Re: Thoughts on the next project
Just a thought, MD500, with Nardi and Kawasaki licence builds. The Defender is currently in service with 18 countries' armed services and civil versions with numerous police, fire, forestry depts. I would be happy to contribute with research of active fleet data for serials/units/bases.
