Re: Update On F-35A Repaints
Earlier versions with fewer aircraft are located in the Download Library. The latest versions have been uploaded and are awaiting approval. If you want the latest version with the most aircraft, I would wait until they are posted. In regards to FSX, someone may correct me here, but I believe they wi...

Re: Update On F-35A Repaints
A quick note on my JYAI F-35A repainting project. Updates to the database, or aircraft deliveries, have seemed to slow a bit. The 187th FW - Alabama ANG has received twelve aircraft, the 95th FS (Tyndall AFB) has received eighteen aircraft, and the 457th FS (NASJRB - Ft. Worth) has received nine air...

Re: Update On F-35A Repaints
Version 2.0 for the 95th FS at Tyndall uploaded this morning, still working on the 100th FS (187th FW). The 457th FS (301st FW) at NAS-JRB Ft. Worth has five aircraft now and they are painted. I will upload as soon as they have ten.
Cheers,
Reggie

Re: Unknown Issue Opening .CFG Files
Interestingly, I've used Word for years to edit the .cfg files, but MS must have updated something. In any case, I tried it using Notepad and it's working as I need it to. I appreciate the input.

Unknown Issue Opening .CFG Files
I'm having a bit of a problem that I can't figure out. Recently, I started getting these two boxes when I try to open a .cfg file. I can get the file open, but after making any changes, it will only save the file to a ".txt" file. I then have to change the suffix from "txt" to &q...

Update On F-35A Repaints
The 457th FS/301st FW at NAS-JRB Ft. Worth painted their first aircraft (photo attached). I've finished this one and will continue with the rest of the squadron as they receive aircraft, as well as the 187th FW - Alabama ANG (9 aircraft to date) and the 95th FS - Tyndall AFB (14 aircraft to date). T...

Orbx Now Converting to P3Dv6
Orbx is now converting to P3Dv6. So far the BasePack, Vector, and ObjectFlow all can be installed and I've found no problems. Object Libraries can be selected, but they haven't made it installable yet.
You will get an update for Orbx Central when you first open it.
Cheers,
Reggie

Re: Need Some Assistance Please
Greetings Chris,
Yes, I’m trying to re-do the tail bands. Very frustrating. I’m doing better with GIMP, but still no joy. Check your PM's.
Much appreciated,
Reggie

Need Some Assistance Please
I'm wanting to repaint the RWAI C-17 in the 155th AS livery. I'm unable to find the original texture sheet or the paint kit, so I'm trying to repaint one of the current textures (183rd AS) in the download. I've tried both MS Paint and GIMP, using DXTBitmap to convert the .bmp into a .dds. The final ...

Re: F-35 Fin Flashes
I'm uploading the current eleven aircraft assigned to the reactivated 95th FS at Tyndall today. Also starting the 457th at Carswell, but don't have a tail flash photo yet. I think the 457th has received two aircraft so far.

Re: F-35 Fin Flashes
Sorry everyone, just noticed the roundels too. Will correct on the next update. Glad you guys caught that, I'm using one template for all and I'm working up the 301st FW and the 325th FW as we speak. Could have been a disaster.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: F-35 Fin Flashes
UPDATE:
Starting the 187th using Scramble. A couple of questions. Is there a template somewhere in regards to fin flash design, placement, etc.; and do I need permission from someone to repaint these aircraft? Lastly, is this even close to correct?
Appreciate any assistance,
Reggie

Re: Carrier Group Scenery Release Package
I may have missed something, but is there a map or other information of where the carriers are located in the sim? I can't seem to find any of them.

Library Objects Description List
I know there is a list of objects in the MAIW Scenery Libraries (by index GUID number), but I was wondering if anyone has put together a list of the objects with "descriptions", such as "Large Hangar-Open Doors", or Large Hangar-Brown Doors Closed", etc. This would alleviate...

Airbase Sceneries
Working on a couple of airbases in P3Dv6. I'm not happy with the generic ones out of the box. Here is NAS-JRB New Orleans. I'm using default and MAIW scenery libraries. Parking is for transient, VFC-204, and the 159th FW.
Any input appreciated.
