Re: Thoughts on the next project
Maybe the Short Belfast would be nice addition to the retro list. Only 10 were build and served with the RAF from 1966 to 1976. A vew soldiered on in the civil-cargo market up until early 2000's I believe. Only 2 models would be required, with refuelling probe (RAF) and without (civil). Just my thou...

Re: RAF Gütersloh P3D restarted
Thank you for clarifying Tim! Knowing the Brits, them saying "they didn't liked it" probably has indeed something to do with most of the bars being on the other side of the base :smt005 Seeing pictures from airshows in the 70's and 80's always makes me a bitt jealous, the variety of aircra...

Re: RAF Gütersloh P3D restarted
I managed to dig up some other images from the internet that may be usefull for you Manfred. Both Pictures below show how the ramp looked before it was made into a contiguous apron. They are from 1969, so just before 18 Sqn and the Wessex's moved in, it looks like hangars 6 & 7 were used by the ...

Re: RAF Gütersloh P3D restarted
Hi Manfred, Maybe the image below can give some clarification regarding the blastwalls in the Lightning era. I found this on the internet a while ago, I believe somewhere on a Facebook page. https://i.imgur.com/yN5fhLi.jpg I am not sure on what date the picture was taken, but the fact that there are...

Re: MAIW NBAI McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet Family Conversion Support
Anyone else having this problem?
When unpacking the files using Winrar I get a error message saying that some files are corrupted? When looking at the extracted files I see that both the aircraft.CFG and Aircraft(old-title).CFG haven't been extracted.

Re: Released: NAS Cubi Point 1989 retro package
Hi Jorgen, Thank you for your kind words. Regarding the taxiway signs, my scenery doesn’t include taxiway signs, so my guess is that they are the from the stock P3D V5 RPLB AFCAD. I have no knowledge of the options in AIG’s AFCAD converter, but using Airport Design Editor (ADE) I can disable them by...

Released: NAS Cubi Point 1989 retro package
A couple of weeks back I released my Retro 1989 C-2A Greyhound package. One of the included units in that package, VRC-50, needed a home to fly from,so I hereby present to you a retro 1989 package for Naval Air Station Cubi Point in the Philippines. This package was created and tested in P3D V4.5. T...

Released: Retro (1989) JYAI C-2A greyhound package
Just uploaded to the library, this package tends to recreate retro C-2A Greyhound operations set in 1989. John Young was so kind to provide me with 2 new models for his C-2 greyhound, both fixed and folding wings, but with the old 4-blade propellers, so the models would match the era this package te...

Re: RAF Gütersloh P3D restarted
Happy to help Manfred! It's the least I can do after all the joy your Brüggen scenery has brought me. Regarding 2TUO, you are right that in my setup the AFCAD can disturb the main ETUO traffic, but please let me know if you would like to have my AFCAD. The Harrier Take Off screenshot was taken at 0 ...

Re: RAF Gütersloh P3D restarted
Hi Manfred, To answer your questions: - Process of installation - Does it work fine? The installation wen't like a charm, i placed the folders in the right place and everything worked from the start. I use P3D 4.5 - Do you have SODE and did you get everything on its place? I use SODE and it looks to...

I had the exact same problem 2 weeks ago after getting a new pc.
It is a firewall issue, make sure your anti-virus doesn't block the program.
Cheers,
