Re: Official MAIW Conversion Packages restructured and cleaned

I wrote that blog post almost a decade ago. Unfortunately it's no longer available since we had to rebuild the site.

Maybe I can still dig it up somehow but no promises.

Fab, something seems to have gone wrong with the upload.

Can you please do it again?

Re: Make a donation to MAIW

It's heartwarming to see that we received donations from 25 different community and staff members so far. Many thanks again to all of you! Your profiles were updated with the special "backer" badge. If you don't see it, it's probably because I couldn't link your paypal email address with y...

Re: Make a donation to MAIW

A huge thank you to all backers. We made the target for this year's hosting. :smt026

You can still send us your donation if you haven't yet, now is a good time to build a little reserve for next year's bill so please help us keep this site up and running.

Thanks again!

Re: Make a donation to MAIW

I'm having the same problem with the PayPal robots that I had the last time I tried to donate through that channel. I hope by the time I get back from holiday this week, my message to them has resolved the situation. John Indeed, I can see your donation but it's still being processed. Fingers cross...

Re: Make a donation to MAIW

Thanks guys!

Sorry for the issues. It must have been a temporary glitch with PayPal.

Together, you already crossed the € 200,- milestone! The target is € 300,- to cover the server costs for this year.

Make a donation to MAIW

Please consider helping us pay for the server hosting that keeps this website, the forums and the download hangar running. When you click on the button or use th...

Re: Download section alive again

I just uploaded the file. Seems to work fine on the user end. Thanks Jon. I can see it indeed in our lists and will have a look in the coming days. Greg, a bent nickel's (or a bent 5 Euro-cent's) worth: it seems to me a bit contradictory that one finds the Upload item when one clicks on the down ar...

Re: Download section alive again

Okay. The custom fields system has completely changed in this version, as you can probably tell from the ugly form layout.

But I think the compatibility field should work now.

The "File Upload" menu item should be available again in the top menu.

Re: Number of Users On Line

It was indeed due to two new unkown bots. One is from Facebook and is now added to the Bots list, the other is now blocked because it wasn't respecting the bot rules.

The max users online was also reset.

Re: Urgent Forum Maintenance

Wow, I'm truly humbled by all your kindness. I just can't see this all going to waste. Especially now that I have realised that I have been doing this hobby for 20 years (the good old PAI days) and that I turned 40 last year. That's... literally half a lifetime. Martin/Greg, talking of money,...

Re: Urgent Forum Maintenance

The download hangar is back. It may look a bit messy, but at least everything should be functioning again.

I still need to recreate the upload form with all the right fields so that will take a bit more time.

Happy downloading!

Re: Urgent Forum Maintenance

Hi everyone, I'm glad to report that the hardest part is over. The site and forums are running on all engines again. So far it looks like I managed to entirely preserve the download hangar. It's not in a functional state at this moment so I had to disable the public access, but I hope to get it back...

Re: MSFS 2020

AIG and FSLTL are using their respective proprietary applications to inject traffic into the sim using the SimConnect SDK instead of using traffic BGL files. It's not just about methodology, you actually need (a) programmer(s) with the time and motivation to write and maintain such an application. U...
