Re: Embraer KC-390
John, I had the brownish hue/gloomy issue with P3Dv5 when I did have HDR enabled. Once I disabled it I get much better, more realistic colours without any shader mod. I also purchased P3Dv6 and the HDR colour problem is the same there. Even worse, LM removed the option to disable HDR so I will stay ...

Re: JYAI F-15s invisible in P3Dv4.5 HF3
Any chance you installed the FS9 F-15 package instead of the FSX version? FS9 models will not show up correctly in P3Dv4.5.

RWAI = Rysiek Winawer AI, all MAIW AI models have this sort of reference to the name of the developer.

Re: (MCX): Possible to change aircraft animation?
No idea why your airbrake piston went south. You are right about the gear doors, it may be best to use the existing keyframes and only change the old k100 to k90 (full open), then add a new k100 with zero values (closed). In the animation you need to change els{ 50 } to els{ 90 }.

Re: (MCX): Possible to change aircraft animation?
There are 4 instances with the l_spoiler_key animation tag: 3 parts + 1 SceneGraphNode.
1. Add the new custom animation tag to your ModelDef.xml file.
2. Open MCX, load the Harrier and go to the Hierarchy Editor and search for "spoiler" to locate the 4 animation tags.

Re: (MCX): Possible to change aircraft animation?
The 1st video shows that the doors move up when rpm increases, usually the hydraulics pump is engine driven so that makes sense. I did not find the preflight state event you mentioned, at which time in the 2nd video does that happen?

Re: (MCX): Possible to change aircraft animation?
Based on several images of parked GR3's I do not think the back gear doors came down when parked. Aeroplane Heaven did the back doors animation correctly, doors only open when gear is travelling down/up.
BTW, based on photos it looks like the airbrake should be partially down when gear is down, can ...

Re: (MCX): Possible to change aircraft animation?
You need to generate a new GUID, afaik it is not OK to change part of an existing one.
There are several ways to do it, I always import a random part or model in MCX, then go to "Object Information".
There I click the "Set New GUID" button and copy the new GUID to the animation tag in the ModelDef ...

Re: (MCX): Possible to change aircraft animation?
Manfred, there is another way to accomplish what you need. First, you need to change the animation keyframe sequence in MCX.
What you want is the gear doors to be open when the gear travels up/down and closed when gear is fully down.
On top of that you need a custom gear animation code which makes ...

Not sure which config file you are talking about... I checked the FSX v1.1 package, all models are where they should be and they are correctly referenced in the model.cfg / aircraft.cfg files. I consider this case closed now.
