If you are truly using ag_tree_lib (FSX) as the output file name it could be that MCX just can not create the file
try using ag_tree_lib_FSX as the file name and see what happens

Can any of the aircraft that are from P3Dv4 be used in FSX? No P3D native aircraft are not recognized in FSX. FSX aircraft work fine in P3D. I did the conversion of the NBAI F-22 to P3D. There was no need to convert to FSX native as the FS9 model works perfectly well in FSX-md11driver44 wrote: ↑10 Dec 2024, 18:50 So I think I will let someone else make a FSX model for the F-22's then.

The P3D C-17s are not compatible with FSX.
They are compiled for 64 bit flight sims (ie P3Dv4 onwards).
The FS9 C-17 should work in FSX with no issues.

Haven't had a chance to install yet but going in for minor surgery on Thursday and then have to take it easy for several days - guess I will have to do nothing but play flight sim all weekend.

The only issue with back porting to FSX from P3D may be the lightmap (assuming the model has them).
P3D uses lua scripting to implement night lights, in FSX you may have to create an overlay part to display the lm.

The problem with the CH-146 Gavin, is the faring above the engine casing that is not present on the UH-1N models. It's easy to add, but there is not room on the texture sheet to map it. I could just use a single block colour, but it really needs a larger area to accommodate the camouflage pattern, ...
