I was working at St Joseph Hospital. We used to live right next to Ellington Field (KEFD) but have since moved near Austin. I miss seeing the fast movers.

Anyways, I am in Tucson, AZ on business. The first thing I see when I get off the plane is a 4-ship of F-16's breaking right over me! On the way to the hotel I saw a couple flights of A-10's as well. They flew right over my head whilst landing.

Avionics plays a huge part in who is successful in a dogfight. The other part is the pilot, circumstances, etc. I would not read much into all of that.
