Re: What about updates when designing for MSFS?
Hi Manfred, …just to say, most of us that have already taken the plunge and have purchased MSFS, understand that this is a Sim that will evolve over time. Whilst I fully understand where you are coming from, I really don’t think that your concerns should prevent you from purchasing MSFS and then hav...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...
@ John & Greg, I absolutely intend to help the MAIW Development team with the AI - MSFS conversion process. @ Greg, Regarding what happened to me earlier on this year and the FSX model Tutorial, well it was in early communication with Ian and the topic of Lakenheath, that heralded the early intr...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...
......the superb JYAI Eurofighter Typhoon, ( Converted into MSFS gltf model for my own use, still WIP ), really is hard to believe this is not a flyable model. John's original modelling and texture work for use in FSX, was so good that once you throw PBR at it, those very same models look truly sens...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...
……my thing was originally Scenery, especially anything to do with the ground. I can do buildings and did the original HAS shelters for RAF Bruggen and Gutersloh Scenery’s as part of the ACG design team, Co-designing with the very talented Manfred Schyma. The problem for me going forwards is, if I wa...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...
….Tim, these birds fly, they are AI F-15C’s the exact same as John did for FSX. If for example, you had Ian’s RAF Coningsby Scenery, ( the non static Aircraft Version ) you would see these Land there. Or if you wait long enough at Lakenheath, you will see the departed Aircraft arrive again to land. ...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...
.....Strictly for my own use only, however I thought it worth while mentioning that after several months of configuration, It is possible to convert former FSX Aircraft * mdl's into the new MSFS gltf model format. Further more, that is without the need for a design program such as 3DSMax or Blender ...

Re: MSFS2020 AI - Good News
..that's a real shame Steve, I guess I haven't made myself clear enough for the reason for posting. Can I just say that, I have no interest in AIG and I have never installed one of their products in any of my Flight Simulators. The reason for posting was just to point out, the link we now have betwe...

MSFS2020 AI - Good News
Hi, For quite a while now, I have been following development ( or lack of it ! ) of the MSFS20 AI system. I think it is fair to say, this is one area that needs much attention. Things are hopefully about to change for the better, as we now have a Community Member, Kai P Kamjunke of the Alpha India G...

Re: RAF Lakenheath for MSFS2020
Hi, Just an update on how we are doing with the MSFS 2020 AI for Ian's Sceneries, including the recently released RAF Lakenheath. After accepting the fact, that there will be some issues remaining because of the infancy of the MSFS 2020 AI system and using Legacy FSX AI models within it, both Ian an...

Re: RAF Coningsby for MSFS2020
Hi, I hope you are all keeping well, ‘ long time no see ‘ as the saying goes ! To compliment Ian’s fabulous Scenery Packages, Coningsby, Lakenheath and Honington, we have set about with the possibility of populating these bases with some of Johns equally fabulous AI Aircraft. As I am sure many of yo...
