I turned off "aircaft ground shadows" and all the AI aircraft have returned. Seems there is a bug in FSX that causes non-FSX aircaft to show up. Thanks to Google that showed many answers to the no AI question.

OK. So I removed all the traffic files and replaced one by one. So far so good. EGLL is now populated by BA, Delta and American Airlines. Must be a FS9 traffic file yet to be found. I'm about to install MAIW flight plans. I want to update the aircraft with latest FSX versions. Due to the hanger bein...

Its the AI traffic slider. I'm investigatiing that a FS9 traffic file is hiding somewhere in my set up.

I've got this strange AI behaviour in FSX. Even with the aircraft slider is set to 100% there are no aircraft showing at any airport. I've checked the flight plans and they validate OK. The AI aircaft are all FSX mdls. I've tried everything but no luck.

Any ideas.

Got the Acceleration disc but due to a mistake by Microsoft in the registry entry it thought it was a demo version. Found the hack and all is well again.
That'll teach me from using dubious software in the first place.

I had SP2 applied, removed it as told to by the accleration CD. Mine was damged which meant it failed to install, so I've got one off ebay which should be here after easter. I'm not getting the modules menu on the top bar of FSX. I've installed FSUIP 4 successfully and its in the modules folder One ...

So far no crashes. but when I try to install FSX Acceleration it tells me to remove FSX SP2. Is that on Disk 2 of FSX?

For some unknown reason FSX crashes everytime during loading a flight. So I'm going delete that and install on the different SSD. For some reason I'm getting FS9 detected when using AI-Aircraft Editor and ADE.

Checked the Windows 11 registry but couldn't find an entry for FS9. Using FSX and found that OK.

Any help wolud be appreciated.

I've down loaded the MAIW MCAI de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk Conversion for FSX. It says it works in FSX abd P3D

However it doesn't show up in the sim. AI Aircraft Editor won''t display it as it says no model.

The model is DHC_Chipmunk P3D.mdl

Anyone know why?
